WELCOME
My name is Andrea Serrill. I have been teaching in Montgomery ISD since 2002. I attended Sam Houston State University and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. My husband and I love living in Montgomery with our two sons.
Teachers are something that runs deep in my family! My grandmother and her sisters were teachers at both the secondary and collegiate level. My father-in-law was an Elementary Principal for many years (a fact that lends itself to many interesting stories for my children from my husband's point of view). He rounded out his career as a Physical Education teacher before retiring a few years ago. My sister-in-law was also a secondary education teacher for many years. Needless to say, there is always someone close by to bounce ideas off of!
I am truly looking forward to a great year. I have been working hard over the summer to implement some new ideas into my classroom this year and I can't wait to share them.
So……let the journey begin!
