Watch D.O.G.S.

Watch D.O.G.S. is one of the nation's largest and most respected school-based, family, and community engagement organizations in the country. More than 6,450 schools across the country have launched a WATCH D.O.G.S. program of their own, and this includes Madeley Ranch! Many schools report that the mere presence of a Watch D.O.G. dramatically reduces reports of bullying.

So who are Watch D.O.G.S.? Fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father figures who volunteer to serve at least one day a year in a variety of school activities as assigned by the school counselor. Our Watch D.O.G.S. serve as male role models for our students and give staff support by helping in car rider line, volunteering in classrooms, interacting with students during lunch and recess, and patrolling our hallways and outside perimeter to increase security and safety.

To become a Watch DOG at Madeley Ranch, you must fill out a volunteer form and return to Ms. Culpepper in the front office. Our volunteer forms can be found HERE After your have filled out and turned in your volunteer form, email Mrs. Sorrell for directions on how to schedule a day to volunteer.
