My name is Shawna Degitz and I am thrilled to be your child's teacher!
I graduated from the University of Houston-Victoria with a bachelor's degree in education, specializing in early childhood and reading. When my husband Mark and I relocated to Montgomery in 2004, we fell in love with this "small" town and its amazing school district. We have three children, Heather, Jacob and Mia. Jacob and Mia are both students at Texas A&M (whoop!) and Heather is a nurse. We are super proud of them!
I have been teaching kindergarten for Montgomery ISD since 2008. When my youngest child was ready to begin kindergarten, I joined her! I have been at The Ranch since it opened and couldn't be happier working with such an amazing group of ladies and friends.
I am excited to get to know your children and be a part of their learning adventure!
